We are home safe...another vacation for the history books....
Okay I'm not sure how much noise this "audibe" sign is going to be ....its been a long short vacation...but we are almost there...the rest area is closed so next stop..The Burbs
I'm not sure if the sign is audible...but we are about an hour from home...Deebo is anxious as he anticipates his suburban bungalo that awaits him...he said scew this thing you people call a vacation...
After a terrifying day of foreign skin rashes and explosive fireworks, Deebo invoked his exexcutive vote by pouting to end this road trip early ...off to the burbs we go...
Well after deciding that breaking in was too risky we made our own four corners...
We made it...well kind of...its still light out but the sun fell behind the clouds but here it is 4 Corners.... And just for the record its only 730 and this sign says 8 and they just closed as we pulled up :-(
Ok we have forgone Monument Valley and instead are headin for Four Corners...the sun is dropping quickly...think we can make it?
Ah once again I am reminded how ignorant we are to look at natives as savages or uncivilzed beings...are you kidding me...I bet this windmill was here before Al Gore called it cool...I digress and we contine forward...
A quick dinner break as we race to beat the sunset...and when I say race I mean 35 mph...cant go any faster or you could hit a stray cow....
On our journey towards Monument Valley we passed the scene of the tragedy once more and discovered the name of the lake is Wheatfields Lake...on another note the scenary is beautiful...
